My Mum, 95, was treated in St Georges Hospital 4 years ago. They made cuts
in her brain, I read about it in the press, it is supposed to shorten the
nerve pathway to reduce the response time and make the brain smaller.

What actually happened was that the long term memory storage circuit is cut
and she cannot update her memory. She knows about the problem because when
she stores information (a conscious act) the comparison signal tells her it
is not there and her pain as she becomes aware her memories are vanishing is
apparent.

This message pipe consists of two nerve bundles each side of the brain on
the outside from the front part to the specialist disc that stores memory. I
think it is called "parietal". The inner message pipe is still there and she
can recall old information.

For her the date is the end of August, Saturday, when the damage was done,
and bank holiday is Monday.

I would like psychiatry banned and every psychiatrists in the planet
executed because of the suffering they cause.

In my case the results are anomalous as I have retained the ability to grow
new parts.
