CODE-ON!..A bioinformatics programming contest (do you get the word
play in the name...smart huh?). A first of its kind (to the best of our
knowledge) programming contest mainly for students of bioinformatics.
To all students of bioinformatics, this is your chance to prove your
super cool computer geekhood! And if you are not a bioinformatics
student, this is still a chance to prove your super cool computer
geekhood, and get interested in bioinformatics and computational
biology in the process. If you can code, then you are our man!
Code-on is being conducted as a part of Replikon '08, the technical
fest of the School of Biotechnology, Chemical and Biomedical
Engineering, VIT University, TN. The event is being co-organised by
RSG-India, the Indian wing of ISCB-SC(International society for
computational biology-Student council).
