Research Associate I

Job Description:

This is a great ENTRY LEVEL opportunity with the following
responsibilities:

* Will assist with and execute experiments, organize and track large
amounts of data, and perform routine laboratory maintenance. *
Conducts analyses with written reports and proper laboratory
documentation to management on key findings of research and/or product
development initiatives within Molecular Sciences. * Works under
immediate supervision, and relies on instructions and pre-established
guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Knowledge and Abilities

* Possess various molecular biology skills and/or experience -
including PCR, library construction, cDNA synthesis and assay
development. * Excellent computer, written and verbal skills are
strongly desired, as well as the ability to learn quickly and work
independently while contributing to a project or team effort. *
Effectively manages change, while inspiring colleagues-to help meet
departmental milestones. * Experienced in both research and
development. * Has knowledge of commonly-used laboratory concepts,
practices, and procedures within molecular biology, biochemistry,
chemistry or related field. Requirements:

* Requires an AS/BS in Biology, Chemistry or other Life Science. * 0-2
years of experience in an academic or commercial laboratory setting.
