Psychiatry wants to add internet addiction to the DSM and make it an

I actually agree. Just because it's not a drug doesn't mean it is not
addictive.
Anything has to potential to be addictive.

Yeah my roomate is addicted to a video game..having seen someone be so
obsessed with it, I think it is indeed a form of addiction-disorder.

I agree as well. About 6 months ago I would spend up to 12 hours a day
on line, basically the whole time I was awake and perhaps wouldn't
even stop to eat. At the time I didn't see it as a problem, but now I
can see how it was just taking over everything. I guess it was a form
of escapism, trying to cover the fact that I actually have no real
life....pretty sad really.
