RResearch Officer in biotech
The Centre for Molecular Medicine (CMM), a programme directed research
centre, is an initiative by A*STAR to bridge the gap between basic
biomedical sciences and clinical medicine. CMM aims to provide
Singapore with strong translational programmes and a competitive edge
in biomedical research.
Research Officer (Genetic Medicine) You will participate in the
isolation and characterization of brain tumour stem cells and how
specific signalling pathways relate to maintainance of their stem
state.
Requirements: - A degree in Cell or Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or
related field. Postgraduate qualification would be preferred. -
Experience in cell culture, standard cloning techniques, Western
blotting and FACS an advantage. - Enthusiasm for research in the field
of Neuroscience / Neuro-Oncology - Good communication skills and
ability to work independently Education Level Bachelor
