Hello all,

I am experiencing a very wierd problem. I am trying to grow primary
cultures of endothelial cells. As of now I am culturing mouse heart
endothelial cells. The cells in the beginning look alright, having
typical cobblestone appearance, but over a period of a day or teo,
those cell flatten out and I think they are becoming senescent.

I am growing the cells in highglucose DMEM supplemented with 10% FBS
at 37deg C. I do not understand why are the cells doing this?

Thank you,

Pooja
